Army of me

2018

Built like an army, shaped like individuals.

Army of Me is a collection of candlesticks that explores a different facet of my work. Here, I wanted to embrace a language that is more minimal, more drawn, almost architectural, while still carrying the emotion and individuality that drive all my creations.

Each piece begins as a solid bronze cylinder, shaped and naturally weathered over time. No two candlesticks are alike. Their height, diameter, patina, and silhouette vary subtly for every order, giving each one its own presence and dynamic. I think of them like figures in a game of chess. Each one holds its position, carries its own weight, and suggests its own story.

Army of Me is about repetition without uniformity. About standing together without losing one’s singular voice.
