BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE

2024

A mirror is only as clear as you are willing to see.

I imagined this mirror as a kind of altar, not for gods, but for those who dare to look inward.

Crafted entirely from bronze, both the frame and the reflective surface carry the weight of ancient memory. In civilizations long gone, Egypt, Greece, China, polished bronze mirrors were tools of spirituality and divination. I wanted to channel that sacred energy into something contemporary and intimate.

The surface is intentionally aged, patinated, imperfect. It blurs at a distance, then slowly sharpens as you come closer, like a secret inviting you to be told.

This piece isn't just about reflection, it's about revelation. It asks you to lean in, to wish, to confront something deeper. It began as a mirror. It became a ritual.
