Nova

2021

Nova is a relic of a future we have not yet lived.

I imagined Nova as an object shaped by centuries, something that could have crossed the ages without ever belonging to any of them. Its matte white dome rests upon a textured bronze base, creating a quiet tension between softness and solidity, between fragility and resilience.

For me, Nova is a meeting point. It draws on my neo-romantic sensibility while embracing a more contemporary purity of form. It feels both ancient and strangely unfamiliar, like a relic discovered in a forgotten future, carrying traces of a world that never was.

In the darkness, Nova reveals its secret. The porcelain dome begins to glow softly, uncovering the delicate mineral texture hidden within. This subtle light carries the memory of lost rituals and echoes a visual language influenced by avant-garde and neo-gothic aesthetics.
