Milan design week

Milan, Italia

For my very first solo show, I had the chance to unveil a new body of work during Milan Design Week 2024, as part of Baranzate Ateliers, a bold and unconventional gathering of independent designers and functional artists.

The setting could not have been more fitting.
The exhibition took place in an abandoned industrial loading dock on the outskirts of the city.
A raw, powerful space that spoke of silence, abandonment, and resilience.

Each area was separated by vast floating curtains made from salvaged parachute fabric. They shifted with the air, creating a ghostly, otherworldly landscape that seemed alive.
Within this haunting atmosphere, my sculptural pieces found their place naturally, standing like relics from a forgotten future.

This exhibition was not only a presentation of new works.
It was a way of inhabiting space differently.
A conversation between material, void, and suspended time.

Within this ethereal maze, Guillon’s bronze pieces appeared like sacred fragments from an archaic future. Their tactile surfaces and dramatic silhouettes found resonance in the brutal minimalism of the venue, embracing both the elegance of destruction and the poetry of suspended time.

This debut solo show marked a significant moment in the designer’s journey, revealing the full emotional and conceptual depth of his practice to an international audience drawn to the edges of design and art.
