Restored vintage French bistro chairs featuring a unique dialogue between traditional bronze work and contemporary textile techniques. This hybrid collection was born from a collaboration with French artist Rébecca (!) fabulatrice, whose remarkable practice involves recycling discarded bra straps from the fashion industry to wrap and revive forgotten objects, imbuing them with new life.

Each chair incorporates these recycled straps, carefully wrapped to highlight rather than conceal the restoration process. The visible integration of these materials creates distinctive visual interest while preserving the original character of the bistro chairs.

The bronze elements provide structural reinforcement while complementing the textile components. This deliberate contrast between materials results in sturdy, comfortable seating suitable for both dining areas and statement accent pieces.

A collaborative project merging traditional craftsmanship with sustainable design practices, these chairs offer practical seating with an artistic approach to furniture restoration and conservation.
