brutalist private residency

Singapore

This was a special project, shaped through a deep and sincere dialogue with the collector. From the beginning, we shared the same sensitivity for form, silence and presence.

The apartment is both brutalist and minimalist. Every element is carefully chosen, nothing is superfluous. I was invited to create several pieces that would live within this space with subtlety and strength.

A Sweet Thing bedside lamp, sculpted in bronze, now brings a soft and quiet glow to the room. A LV-426 wall sconce extends that same energy, anchoring light within shadow.

For the first time, I also framed three bronze keys. I sculpted blocks of solid wood, burned and hollowed, to receive each key like a secret embedded in matter. They can be removed at any moment, but even still, they hold the possibility of movement. They are not fixed. They wait.

This project is a reflection of what I seek in every collaboration. A space where the object becomes more than an object. A place where it holds something invisible. Something shared.
