UNDERCOVER THE HYUNDAI SEOUL

My ongoing dialogue with Jun Takahashi and UNDERCOVER has taken yet another form. On August 29, 2025, the brand unveiled its new store, “UNDERCOVER THE HYUNDAI SEOUL,” within the iconic department store in South Korea.

For this opening, I was invited to create three chandeliers for the space, including the LV-426 Vertical 3 Diffusers and the LV-426 Balanced. Against the store’s black interior, these works evoke both tension and stillness, shaping a tranquil yet powerful atmosphere.

For me, it was less about furnishing a store than about weaving fragments of my universe into the rhythm of UNDERCOVER’s.
